I got home last night to find the part of my Amazon order. Yay! In this box was PB2, some baby food containers (so that I can mix the PB2 and take it to work), and an alarm clock for Adam. The PB2 came in a vacuum packed package that I had quite the difficulty actually getting into.
It was a tiny package but as I added air back in it got a bit larger. Definitely challenging to open though – I kept cutting and cutting to get down to a place where it actually opened so that air could sneak into the package. I was nervous that the PB2 would just go flying everywhere like flour if I ripped it open.
I was so excited to get this that I had to whip up a serving and try it! So, I took two tablespoons of the PB2 added a bit of water and mixed it right in one of my new containers. I only had a quick taste but I did like it… the real test will be tomorrow when I eat it as a snack.
After I finished packing my lunch, I got started on dinner. Dinner was another… you guessed it… chicken burger. We had some lettuce that really had to be eaten and we both absolutely are obsessing over these chicken burgers so we made them yet again. Don’t worry, you won’t see another chicken burger again this week (although, that doesn’t mean you won’t see other burgers this week).
I seriously can’t get enough of these chicken burgers. The bread, chicken and lettuce just taste so good together!
After dinner, around 8 or so, I got a bit hungry. So, I had a couple of pieces of whole wheat bread, a Babybel Light cheese, and some turkey pepperoni. I ended up eating a bit more than I originally intended to tonight but I really didn’t want to end up overly hungry. One day at a time!
