Yesterday seemed like such a long day, I am not sure why but lately the days have really been dragging a bit for me. I think maybe I am not getting enough sleep. It is weird… by the time I get to Wednesday I tell myself that there are only two days left in the week so I end up not worrying too much about sleep but I think this week I will have to force myself into bed earlier for the next couple of nights. I think I can rationalize just about anything!!
So, let’s catch you up on yesterday. I got a good workout in… I am really trying to maintain my intensity for longer durations. I am finding that it really takes concentration on my part! If I get distracted by the TV or my mind starts to wander I quickly will lose intensity. I managed to hit an average heart rate of 150 for this workout. I am good with that!
After my workout, as normal, I booked it to work… only I didn’t need to grab my winter jacket! Gotta love this warmer spring weather.
Work was fairly uneventful… I had a bit to catch up on from being out on Monday and I am planning on taking next week off so I’ve been trying to just keep my head down and get stuff done! I also managed to get in my snacks BEFORE I got home which really set me up for a much more successful evening!
After getting home, I got to work on dinner. Unfortunately, I had messed up and taken chicken burgers out of the freezer the night before… I had planned on us having breakfast burritos. Oh well. The only real problem with the chicken burgers is that we were out of lettuce. While we missed the lettuce, I have to say these were still amazing. You really can’t go wrong with Amy Lu’s Grilled Chicken Burgers (in my opinion). They are FAST, EASY, and DELICIOUS! Win, win and win!
After dinner, I munched on an orange and a bag of popcorn which inevitably Adam started reaching into! Unfortunately, I went to bed way too late as we were on the phone with his family preparing for our vacation next week. My goal for today … EARLY to bed! Do you have any goals for today?
