I think sometimes our overarching goals are so big that we become overwhelmed and paralyzed in fear. When I started this blog, I had a goal. I wanted to become healthier. At that time, I was really struggling with under-eating and over-eating. I’ve largely broken away from those cycles and am eating much more throughout the day but I still have a long way to go.
I firmly believe that it all starts with one single step on a single day so I am going to return to posting the healthy steps that I am intend to take each day or week. I am going to try, especially in the beginning, to post one step per day. It may be a repeat from the day before but by posting it each and every day it will help me focus and I will be more accountable. It will also help me to focus on one thing at a time so that I can continue moving forward in my progress. As a reminder, a healthy step can be anything that you do to make your life healthier and happier. The steps do not always have to be related to food, nutrition or exercise.
Today’s healthy step is to cut back on my after dinner snacking. The goal is to not eat anything after 8:30 pm.
