I am definitely a creature of habit when it comes to food. I tend to eat the same thing every day for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Unfortunately, yesterday I forgot my Gnu bar at home and only remembered once I had sat down on the train for my morning nap commute. What was a girl to do?
I couldn’t skip a snack – could I? I guess technically I could but I think I might be starving by dinner time and likely to eat overeat this evening. So, I ducked into a store on my way into work and scoped out the snack options… I wanted something with a few more calories than my typical gnu bar and more protein as I am not sure that I got enough to eat last night and, I am definitely could use more protein in my diet (more on that later).
After searching through the limited options – I finally settled on….
Yep, that is right, a single serving of cashews. And, wow, were they good! I am definitely going to try to start breaking my routine more often. What about you? Have you broken a routine recently?
