My week is all out of sorts this week … we had a huge storm over the weekend causing a lot of damage in the area. While we were lucky to escape with very minimal damage – just some large tree limbs dropping into our yard. Unfortunately, many of our neighbors were not so lucky.
Because of all the downed tree limbs and power lines, there were no trains running today and I couldn’t get to work. I like working from home every now and then … it breaks up the routine and I am not only able to sleep in an extra hour but I am also able to work much later into the evening (read: get more stuff done).
One of the hardest things about working from home, though, is that I really struggle with drinking enough water. I am not sure why but I really just don’t drink water at all when I am at home. I also don’t really drink enough water when I am at work but at least I drink a bit more. So, I am back to work tomorrow and I’ve decided that my healthy step for this week will be to drink more water. I am going to try to drink at least 64 ounces of water… this will be a real struggle for me but I am going to try!
