Veggie Burgers And A Workout

Last night I really didn’t feel like eating the veggie burgers that we had lined up for dinner but Adam convinced me that we should…mostly by not really having another good idea.  Smile So, veggie burgers it was.  I also heated some vegetables and cooked some noodles to go with it.

After dinner, I snacked on another orange.  They were much better this time so now I am thinking about trying to squeeze one more box of oranges in before they go bad.

After dinner, I watched tv for a while and then headed to bed at 9 pm.  I’ve been pretty tired this week and I’ve been really trying to get more sleep.  I must have needed it, I ended up sleeping right until my alarm went off … and, this never happens to me!

I didn’t really have anything planned for my workout this morning (other than 90 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights).

March 28th Workout

The cardio workouts have been seeming longer and longer … nothing has changed … I think I am just bored watching tv.  I used to watch shows on Netflix during my workouts but I took a break in favor of the morning news.  I think it may be time to switch back.

I got the 90 minutes of cardio in but only managed to get 15 minutes of weights in because I slept until my alarm went off.  Since I only had 15 minutes and I was breaking the strength training in two, I decided to do arms this morning and legs tonight.

What do you watch while you workout (if you workout inside)?  What helps your workouts go by faster?

Searching For …

I am hoping that you can help me… I am searching for the perfect lunch bag or tote.  I need something that is not only stylish but roomy.  In terms of size, I am currently using one of those small shopping bags kinda like this one below.  I typically fill the bag about half full but I’d like the option of being able to fill it all the way up if I wanted.

Moving on to my food for Wednesday…

I started the day with my typical snacks: string cheese, fiber one cereal, carrots with peanut butter, broccoli, and a Gnu bar.  I really wish that I had time for a good breakfast at home but given that I am tied to that darn train schedule and that I already get up around 4:45/5:00 am… I have to live with my snacks.  I am eating something pretty much every 1.5 to 2 hours once I get into work and I am finding that I rarely get hungry with this new schedule.

Dinner was a veggie burger, a couple small baked potatoes, and broccoli.  I’ve really been into broccoli recently… a friend asked me today if I ever got tired of broccoli and I have to say that the answer is honestly no.  I expect that I may eventually get sick of it but right now it is really one of my favorite veggies. Veggie Burger, Broccoli, and Potato After dinner I needed a bit of a snack as I was still pretty hungry so I got some fresh fruit out.  I typically like my bananas more on the raw side but the ripening of this batch got a bit ahead of me. Following the fruit, I am not going to lie … I got out a box of the peanut butter multi grain cheerios and started munching away while I was perusing the web.  Ugh… before I knew it I had definitely eaten way too much.  Oh well… Thursday is a new day and I think that I can probably cut out the mindless eating with a bit more concentration now that I am aware of it.
